Lindsey Burman

Lindsey Burman is an artist based in Sydney, Australia. Born and raised in London, she emigrated to Sydney in 1992 with her young family. Although she has painted various watercolour images of English countryside, she was inspired by Australia and its vivid colours. This is reflected in her artworks depicting family life in and around Sydney harbour, beachside landscapes and the countryside.

Under the guidance of renowned Sydney artist Robyn Ross, Lindsey's artistic style and technical skills have developed significantly. She has since used many mediums such as watercolour, pencil, pastel and acrylic. She has exhibited her work at various venues and exhibitions such as St Joseph’s Art Show, Hunters Hill Art Show, Balmain Watch House, and in the Provence of Paris, France.

Lindsey's influences are the environment in Australia and the wonderful colours which have inspired many landscapes of local water, mountains, flora and beaches.

Her love of animals has been shown in the last few years with the various paintings of African animals, domestic cats and dogs, and more recently Australian birds.
